6th grade Lion Basketball

Stole this snapchat from our nephew Drew...

it was his after the 6th grade boys beat their long time rival Barr Reeve.

We had lost to them last year and the boys have worked so hard this year.

Sam was a bit sad because he did not play at all, he told me he didn't help them win.

I told him that was nonsense, this team's starting five would not be as strong as they are if they didn't have the second five to scrimmage against!

  Proud of these boys and all of their hard work this season.

These boys play 2-3 games a week and a couple of tourney's, love watching them all.

17 point game!

The 6th grade basketball season is off and running. 

 The boys are 3-0 so far, enjoying every bit of it!

Sam has had a couple very good games this year already.

Against Cedar Crest, he scored 17 points and had several rebounds

and an over the back foul-big deal for our non aggressive boy!

He was really come around this year.

And Sam scored 4 and had more rebounds against a tougher WRV team.

Enjoy watching this team work together, they are very smart on the court.

 No place I would rather be than watching either of my boys doing something they love.

Basketball Bus Ride

Sam took his first ever bus ride to a game last month.

He came to WB to get changed and ready due to short time to be back for bus.

He dresses for the B 5th grade team (sometimes).

LBC 4th grade champs

These boys worked hard to win their tournament for

their basketball fall league.

They were all pumped to get a trophy for their hard work.

Black vs Gold

October rounded out the fall basketball season. The lion teams were both very good and ended the season playing each other for the championship. It was a hard fought battle tied after 3 quarters and that would have been a good time to call the game!! The black team won meaning Sam was on the losing team. Had some happy boys that day and some sad ones. They were friends again soon though!!
