Magic Yball

Joe started Yball today.  

First game, they did great.

He had a lot of fun.

Had one steal

Was on the ground a few times

He had some super cute fans.

Lane was a baller today

Our January

We've had an uneventful = blessed January.

Not much school, that is going to catch up with us.

It has been bitter cold 1 degree today, so many delays and some cancellations

do to snow. 



Proud of my boys and their exceptional grades last term.

Orange Leaf (discount for A's) was in order.

 

And a Graber game night where we played

a great game of Life (I prefer the older version)

 

 

And Twister, not the most flattering pic of me, but

this is our blog and want my boys to remember that we had fun times

DH was the spinner but he was laughing so hard that he couldn't keep up.

 

 

And we have had fun watching Sam play with the 2nd grade Lions

and a league in Bloomfield.  He plays on Sundays for about a month, a tourney is coming up in February.

 

And there had been work of course.  It doesn't look like it here

because they were sending Dan a message that they were thirsty.

Crazies that I work with, yikes.  Co workers do make work fun though!

Sam's Yball Medal

After church and lunch at home Sam's

day of basketball started...the last of a full day of basketball for

this year.  He started at biddyball.

He enjoys this because all of his school friends are here.

It is all fundamentals and we know those are super important.

We also wanted to expose him to playing a game so he does Yball too

His yball team has been fun too

His coach Rod is so patient and kind to all of them

several also go to his school

He played pretty good today and was pretty agressive

They got their medals, look at those smiles

He also played his friend Brody

And Joe got to play the whole time with Brody's brother Brent

It was a great season!

Today Joe had fun at his last Y-ball game.

I was really impressed with him during his games.

He tried so hard every time down the court!

He scored 4 buckets today

And was very proud of his basketball medal

Saturday with Drew

Sam wanted to invited someone to his yball game Saturday.

Come to find out, he had Drew in mind.  And Jaelyn had a tourney so he got to spend the whole day with us!

We headed to Washinton for Joe's game at noon.

We ate and played at Gatti's after his game

We visited the pet shop and got a lot of smiles and ideas on their next pet of choice.

Joe - non really, poor guy is not really an animal man!

And then we went to Walmart, the toy section, the sport section, electronics, clothes, school section, but slushies from the snack bar was their favorite.

Boys just really are not shoppers, proven today.  Three girls could have wondered around Walmart with no time to spare before the start of Sam's game, but we zoomed thru and still had time to waste, ha!

Sam picked out basketbal socks at Dick's the other week.

He LOVES them.

Today he said...my socks are from Dick's they will make me good!

we watch these boys into the high school years!

We ended back at home and I made homemade cheeseburger macaroni corn

and fruit salad.  They gobbled it up and played.
