Golf 2021 ⛳️ Freshman

I love wathcing him play.

I appreciate the time spent watching him on the course with the chance

to give him encouragment if he looks my way.

It doesn't come super easy to him, but he keeps consistent and works hard at golf.

I am thankful to make all the meets this year, this was important to me.

Either Dan or I made them all or we split to make it to Joe's junior high baseball.

I am proud of Sam for working thru frustrating shots, often times coming out of that hole with a pretty good score.

Love this son of ours.

Fun team of fine young men this year.  Rory, Silas, Connor S, Connor W, Seth B and Sam

He is Risen Indeed ♥️

It was a beutiful day for Easter 2021.

The pandemic made us miss the celebrations Easter 2020.

Oh, we still celebrated our risen savior both years, but

it was fun to be together with family.

We went to church together at Berea

Spring flowers give new life.

Walker Teen Great Grands - they did the egg hiding this year.

Landrey, Ella, Ava, Drew, Jaelyn, Joe and Sam

Glimpse of Spring

We invited family over at the first sight of spring.  When the weather gets warmer and days seem longer, everyone's mood is just a little bit brighter!  Loved having everyone together.

Walker and Quinn are quite the pair, Quinn is older by about 5 months and they can encourge each other to get into anything!

Some backyard football

And a lot more frontyard basketball

Just waiting on Carlye Ann!

And these two were competitive!  I'd say Taylor stuck it to him!

Love watching him work towards his goals!

The start of freshman golf season!

Spring sports

Look at those sunny days

and

green grass.

Spring has to be one of my favorites because I know summer is coming!

Jaelyn played her senior year of softball - usually playing 3rd base!

Softball is a favorite sport of mine - I was able to catch several of her games, usually after golf or baseball!

Grandpa's basketball goals gets lots of action when his grands are there.

Joe's LMS baseball team started their year at ND - Joe at shortstop. Koen is the pitcher here.

And the start of golf with a tournament at French Lick.  Golf produces some of the most senic views!

Time to Enjoy

This spring there was much more time to enjoy.

We went on a long walk at the Parklands in Jasper.

It was the perfect day - we took our time and enjoyed the spring weather.

There has also been time for porch sitting.

(and we sold our old van tires)

but not before Joe tried to use them for a seat but was not succesful!

I received a message at work that they were making doughnuts at Grandma's - funny thing is

I never even got a taste!!! And we made a Sweedish Meatball recipe from the Stoll cookbook - it was DELICIOUS - but not low in fat or carbs or really anything at all!!!

I received a mess

This kid.

He has explored holes and spaces in this house.

I don't even remember why he was behind the fridge, but he did clean for me while it was out - win!

And he claimed this little closet cubby to read in over quarantine.

Grandpa has invited us over for a couple of fires, too.

And we have a bunch of bunnies this year.

Front porch kinda breakfast

and

Side yard kinda sunset

This guy has also drug home a lot of treasures this spring.

It appears to be old  items to me....but a treasure to him for sure.

And he did not drag this home but ugh - it was not welcome.

Sam took care of it for me.  Got it out of the garage and snapped in in half.

I know, I know it probably wasn't harmful but I did not want to run into it again.

In my defense, I always rehome daddy long leg spiders - they don't bother me at all.  May I get some redemptive points for that?!?

Joe's friend Evan came over too for a fun afternoon visit!

Spring Days to Remember

We were forced to make the difficult decision to cancel the LifeLight Music Festival for Summer 2020.

That was a tough one !  We were passionate about bringing a Christian artist to our area once again!

We trust that God has bigger and better plans for the next season.

Pics like this from Joe became pretty common!

And like most years...we did some more landscaping work!  It's my favorite.

I need update pics - those succulents (from cousin Chalee) have grown a ton!

And I went with all white in my flowers (front yard) and I'm still loving them.

I was a red geranium girl, might be converting.

Yep.
