15 Anos

Our first born son is 15 Anos.

He started Spanish this year and really enjoys it, it seems he is also pretty good at it.

I found a XL blanket - this has been a favorite ever since, he keeps it with him always!

A little project for school (cell model) He did a really cool job on this.  Loved seeing his plan come to life

and

A typical look for his after school home work or possibly an elearning day.

Christmas Eve

Reflecting on our Christmas eve brings me a lot of joy.

We had a really great family day.

It was a start of a new season having Christmas eve off.

We also didn't have plan at all this day since our traditional Walker family gathering was

moved this year.

Boys wanted to make gingerbread houses and each picked out a kit.  This was

and epic creation.  We spent a good LONG while creating.

Joe had a mini breakdown and dad had to come to the rescue (of the house and the attitude both) tee hee

We were having so much fun that we got some regular cardboard and supplies from the cabinet and made our own creative creations.  Obviously, I would choose a beach theme!

It came with an epic mess.

Sam made a golf clubhouse with a green, sand trap and water feature.

I had time to set the table for our Christmas morning breakfast

We ended up at Will and Jill's for Christmas eve even though we had already gathered for our official time together.  Sam created a craps table (hand drawn) during COVID so we took it and boys had fun learning the rules.

Jaelyn and Jill doing the traditional school song dance.  I hope they never out grow this.

We celebrate Sam's 15th birthday (it was Jill's birthday and Will's on 26th) with a grandma cake, yum!

Celebrating DH

Our DH had a birthday.

We took a day to celebrate him.

He chose Mother Bears and Rural King.

He ate his favorite pizza and didn't buy a thing at RK.

That's just like him.

Thankful for our DH.

Birth Day 2020

Joe and I had a really special birthday this year.

Joe had saved his money for the last 3 years from his famous pop challenge with dad, he

added this to our birthday money to purchase a new computer.

He and Sam were excited when it came in the mail on Aug 4, they set out

to get it set up together. Sam was as excited as Joe was.

This has been on his list since age 10.  He was pretty excited.

And it true Joe fashion, the last button on the set up lauch was Let's Go!

One of his favorite sayings when he is excited!

I worked from home on our birthday, so I look a quick break to write Joe

a couple messages for when he came home from the farm with dad.

Having his pop for his birthday (he talked dad into the day after as well this year!)

My friend Allison brought flowers the night before that she and the twins had picked at the flower farm

AND lunch the day of - my favorite BLT pizza from Pizza Junction!

I worked until 230 then we headed North for a work meeting for mom,

but we turned it into a hotel stay and day away!

I had dinner here for work.

It was very good and we had a nice evening.

And Dan spoiled the boys with 1/2 price games at Dave and Busters.

This is always a favorite for them (all 3)

A fun birthday for Joe and I, blessed with another year!

My Facebook post for Joe's birthday says it all.

If you know Joe, you know he does life BIG.

He loves big, plays hard, studies harder, seeks after answers, argues his point to a fault.

He is a helper, a giver, he is a pleaser and an includer.

He sets goals and holds himself to high standards.

There is not shortage of conversation when Joe is near, especially if he is passionate about that topic.

Joe, We love you big.

Happy 13th birthday to our Quarenteen.

Aunt Darla made him a strawberry delight after she heard it was his favorite.

He ate it that night and a piece for breakfast the next day!

Shaylee has a birthday Aug 29 and she was arguing with Joe that August was her birthday

month, Joe as refusing to give in!

Our handsome son. 💗
