It was a beutiful day for Easter 2021.

The pandemic made us miss the celebrations Easter 2020.

Oh, we still celebrated our risen savior both years, but

it was fun to be together with family.

I spent countless hours planning and organizing our trip out west to find a route that would

work best for our trip.  It looks like from this screenshot our locations were adjusted a bit.  

  I am thankful now that I did so much research and planning.  

Looking back on our two week trip out west will be some of our best memoires forever!

And countless meaningful hours spent here as well.

This junior youth group has our heart.  

We have loved every minute of mentoring and guiding them over the last couple years! 

Isn't this true? Every day we are given opportunites to develop our character.  

Christmas Morn 2021

We had a simple Christmas morning.

It was not rushed.

We didn't wake super early or over do the gifts.

I still love stockings, so they were full!

Blake made christmas tree cinnamon rolls so I stole her picture.

We made B&G here, super slow morning at home soaking up our holiday.

We awoke to a thin layer of snow.  Perfect for Christmas morn.

We had time for a game of Tripoly - we played this as a kid, sent a picture to my brothers to jog their memory.  

Thankful for a day to focus on our savior and our family.  

We also took time to celebrate our birthday boy.  

Life Lifhr Tourney Champs

Joe and a couple friends: Calvin, Mason and Christian won the Lifeligh 3-3 division for their age group

at SJG.  They had a fun night for sure.  

This is highlight for these boys!  Fun times,

The tournament was very successful - a lot of people from the community came out to support the fundraiser for the Life Light concert! 

Cricket County - 10 years later

10 years ago this Christmas our little church performed our 1st big Church Play

Cricket County Country Christmas

This year we performed it again - 10 years later.

Some of the cast was the same including myself and my SIL Shannon as the grouchy old nursing home ladies that get in everyone's business!  Some of the cast was different including my nephew Dryce who was at every practice the last time but would have only been about 9.  

We have the absolute best time preparing for these plays.

We laugh hard at the script and each other.

We encourage one another, we are all amateur. 

 We give a lot of grace.

Our intention is to give glory to God, bring home the real meaning of Christmas

and give everyone a pretty good laugh! 

My original costume fit ( I think it might have been a bit snugger, but it fit!)

This gal right here, Mrs. Sherri is a true asset  and a true friend.  She was in charge of all our props and directing us, she did AMAZING. She give 110%. 

What a fun, fun crew!

Jr Youth Christmas ⛪️

We have the best times with these teens. 

We enjoyed a delicious Mexican (always a hit)Christmas celebration meal with them - in December of course. I am WAY behind on blogging but life has been full and we’ve been living it! 

They are super competitive, competition is always fierce! 

The song game frustrated them, adults liked it though! 

Our gift exchange is always their favorite snack - makes a great option for a mixed group especially junior high age and they are passionate about their choices! 

So blessed by this group - thankful for the opportunity to mentor them - only with God’s guidance!

Mental Attitude Award || Jaelyn Walker

Will sent us a message during the last game. Make sure you don't leave, as if we would have!

But, it was all we needed to know. Our girl was the state mental attitude award winner, of course she was.  There are a few moments in your life that will shine pretty bright and this is one of them for me.  So very proud of my brother and my friend and sis-in-law Jill for the awesome, kind, intelligent, talented down to earth girl they have raised.  Watching that all play out on that court...just awesome.  

I mean this is the top award.  Gosh, reliving it is just as good as the original announcement!

Bowling with Jr Youth

We have been blessed by an amazing group of junior youth kids.

We have been able to meet together and even made a trip to our local bowling alley.

They are fierce competitors but they are also forming some important friendships.

I am thankful to get a little glimpse into the lives of these great kids.
