More Sweet Summertime!

Joe was pumped because it was Drew hand-me-down time.
And I was pumped because DH was up for going thru them with him! Bonus.
I just had to do a bit of clean up.
We packaged our items that were too small and passed them on to cousin Ryder.

A few and far between lazy summer morning.
Melt me.
(Also, don't tell them I took this picture)

Or this one, they put their money together for a lego set and divided up the assembly.

How true is this?!?

Sam picked out some new shades for summer camp and golf
and I suddenly had a man sitting next to me.

So many storms, so much rain.

We were able to sneak in a 1 hour swim a Sunday before the storms rolled in.
Graber cousins were out and home safely before it hit, it was a severe one.

Joe made this sweet collage!

Rainy Pool Day

We've got some cousins getting to the age where
we needed some fresh pool toys!
Joe and I were happy to pick out a few (tee hee).

We took a Saturday morning and got fresh pea gravel
for the area under the swingset and a couple of digger toys.
We scrubbed the swing and slide and all of the kid toys.
We are ready for those young cousins to come play!

And despite the forecast the faithful family pool goers came to swim.
But, alas, it rained and the kids were able to swim most of the day anyway,
until the storms turned more severe and we had to close up the pool.

We had a good ol family visit anyway - Quinn was not short on attention.
She was cheesing for Uncle Will and I!

The water table was a big hit, has been for 12 years now, it's been ever popular.

Quinnie girl brought her shades!

Success at the Barr Reeve Shootout!

The next day was the Barr Reeve Shootout for 8th grade.
The boys had a very good day and won all their games.

Quinn and Graham came to watch, love that.

I was able to take a quick lunch for the boys.
They made quick work of 12 sandwiches and a big bowl of strawberries in record time.

Graham's favorite time was 1/2 time!

We sure love this guy.

Several of the boys were able to come swim, nachos seemed like they
would feed the crew.  (I might have made 2 rounds, ha)

Joe's friend T_Y_E (we can't just say Tye, ha)
came home with us too.

Love a pool full

 Playing the color game.
