The soccer season continues and so does this kid's passion to play.

I like soccer.

It has a relaxed vibe.

The parents laugh and enjoy the sport more than others in this area.

I'm gonna strive to enjoy them all like I enjoy soccer,

just watching my boy do his thing!

Saturday Well Spent

Saturday was a Day Well Spent - it was split

between Tennis and Soccer mixed in a little Volleyball, mowing the yard

and then a birthday party!

Sam had a tennis invitational at Jasper,

the entire team did very well.

He played doubles with Reis and Luke - he won 1 and lost 2.

Again a HOT day.  I even got my umbrella out for shade...unusual for this sun loving mama!

Joe had a soccer game at noon - we made sure he stayed well hydrated!

And he scored a goal! 

Way to go, bud!

They tied 1-1 with the other team.

We headed into the gym where it was COOL and watched

Jaelyn's JV Volleyball team take home with tournament with a win!

We finished mowing the yard, Sam and I tagged teamed it!

Friday Evening Soccer

Soccer is played on Friday evenings and Saturday at noon this year.

Joe would play it several days a week if we let him.

His coach this year might be the most encouraging coach we have ever played for...he has something positive to say every time they run up and down the field.  Makes me want to play...almost.

His team is 2-1-1 so far!  

2017 Soccer Underway

I was thrilled to be off work for Joe's soccer season opener.

We have had a very warm September and it has also been dry so he has played all his scheduled matches.  He LOVES goalie and does great that position.

Look at that form.  He does very good at getting the ball back in play

after he picks it up at goalie, that quick turn around has 

done great in helping score goals on the other end.

He had enjoyed moving up a league this year.  He plays with some 8th graders and loves the competition.  Fierce little goalie!

Saturday Soccer - Oct 29

The very last weekend in October we finished up soccer.

These two ( Joe and Mason) had competed at the Fall Festival but were teammates today!

Joe had a great game, scoring 2 goals!

The day was on-point.  Seriously, beautiful fall.

It has been warm and sunny.  Jeans and T-shirt weather all fall.

Today (Nov 19 - it is 40, first time this cold all season).

I love this, soccer or dance moves?  With his friend Brianna Eckerle.  Who he, without fail, calls 

Brianna Eckerman because her big sis is Brittany Eckerle (Blake's bestie) and Brittany's fiance is Bryant Ackerman (Blake's cousin) and Joe cannot remember Brianna's last name...

so Eckerman it is!

Sam's group played, too.  I was happy as a lark.

I love getting to go to my kiddos games, no place I would rather be.

And the fish in their new home.

We picked up a bucket of hickory nuts for Uncle Ed.
