Spring sports

Look at those sunny days
and
green grass.

Spring has to be one of my favorites because I know summer is coming!

Jaelyn played her senior year of softball - usually playing 3rd base!

Cardinals Division Series - Game 3

DH and his friend Greg bought tickets to take their boys to Game 3 of the Division Series.
They picked a good year as the also made the playoffs for the World Series.

This guys LOVES to keep stats.
Kept the entire game.

They made treasured memories together.

So did Sam and I - went to Evansville together and he got to try Popeyes Chicken- he had been seeing it on ESPN and couldn't wait to try it - according to him it did not disappoint.

Joe is my picture taker, enjoyed seeing these from his camera roll.

Sam and I found these sunglasses that had Bluetooth music -seriously!?!

Dylan and Greg waving their cards towel!

Our Cards in Cinci

The weekend after school started, we snuck a little more out of summer.
Our St Louis Cards were playing in Cinci so we made a trip over to watch them.

DH found our tickets and booked the hotel (this never happens) so  I was relaxed and along for the ride.

We prefer St Louis but have a great time in Cincinnati as well!
It's a beautiful city and we rode the Skywheel this trip enjoying the view for a long ways!

See the wonky order, ugh- this was the next day, we went to outlet malls on the way home.
We didn't find much and I found myself breaking this up often!

It was beautiful evening game.

A week after his 12th birthday - he celebrate his 10th here as well.

He loves keeping the book, does a great job.  He never tires of  it the whole game.

They keep looking older and older  Be still my heart.

12 U All Stars

Joe made the 12U All Stars
He had a fun All Star 12U Tournament at the Little League field
last weekend and the boys played great.

They won both games on Saturday, but fell short in the first game of the tournament.

Our 2nd baseman. He caught 3 balls, 2 in the same inning.
Other team's coach yelled to hit it somewhere else!
His bats are a bit off right now, we are working on them
with lots of batting cage trips!

Hometown tourneys take a lot of pitch in help!

Evening at the Ballpark

Evenings at the ball park are some of my favorites!
I love watching this guy play baseball.
He hustles and tries hard, he's a leader and encourager.
He loves the game.

He pitched a great game. Had fun with team mates
This year ND brought teams down a few times to play us
so that was fun for the boys!

Graham and Quinn (oh and their mom and dad) were on a walk on purpose past the field
so they could come see Joe play -we love that!

Quinnie girl was so happy in her seat so we let her be!
It's hard to believe that Graham was this size last year when he came to the ballfield!
