Hot Ham and Cheese

Ever had the Hot Ham and Cheese at Noble Romans?
It is DIVINE.
I've been making these for a few years.
Thought I'd share.
It's a knock off, not near as good as the original...but...

Gather Ham Slices and Bannana Pepper (and the juice)
and simmer until the meat is warm.
Layer it on buns ( I love the hoagie style, but just had
some leftover hamb. buns on hand this time)
with plenty of mozerella cheese.
Wrap in foil and bake about 15 min.
or until cheese is melty gooey goodness!

Top with creamy Italian dressing.
Yummo. it is so super good, we just eat it with chips
No fancy side item needed!

Resurection Eggs

We have opened and learned with half of our Resurection eggs.
It is a challenge to teach children about the true meaning of Easter
surrounded by all the commercialism.
We still enjoy Easter egg hunts and look for Easter baskets after
Sunrise service at church...but conveying the true reason
for celebration begins at this young impressionable age.

We picked up these eggs last week at my nephew Cole's
confirmation celebration at his church.
We have opened 2 every night in this week leading up to Easter.

We generally do this at bedtime as our story time.
From the looks of things...Sam is really sleepy!

Here is the associated scripture.  Our boys love the connection of their item from the egg with the bible.
