Easter Pizza Party

Thursday morning, the boys spent time decorating our home for and Easter Egg party.

I couldn't tell them that we weren't really having a party at our home, that would not have

been an acceptable answer!  So, I sent a text an invited the family for pizza and they all came!

I have some seriously cute nieces!  Especially J-birds shoes...Mo had out

my shoes trying them on for prom.  They got vetoed but were perfect

with sweats, don't you think~?

And then the littles hid eggs for the bigs to find

Ethan  and Blake as Sam and Joe (ha)

Sam was only into basketball

and Joe was not into sharing.  This is how he wanted to hide the eggs...

Yeah, he is four not two

yeah, he has on one red and one blue crock.

Not a shining moment.

Chilly Park Visit

We had an extra special day today.

Sam  (and Joe) were out of Kindergarten and preschool

because it was Kindergarten round up for others.

Even though it didn't affect us, we spent the day enjoying each other!

We slept in until 730...oh la la, heaven!

We decorated the house for an Easter party that the boys have planned.

We boiled eggs to be ready for dyeing.

We waited on the water softener guy, he came and still didn't fix it.

We practiced Joe's letters.

We got ready and went to visit daddy for lunch.

We had planed a park visit all along but the cold had us wondering.

We headed to the park anyway.

We did eat our subway in the van but warmed up when

we played basketball together!

The spring/summer fever hit us early this year

and there is no going back, 

we may still need jackets but we are playing outside!
