Nineteenaversary || Day 2

This was actually our evening view on Day 2.
We enjoyed dinner along the Harbor Docks at Brotulas.
The sunsets there are breathtaking, a little hard to capture their full beauty.

There was plenty of time for pics of the scenery.
I missed seeing the boys pop in and out of those pics tho.
DH and I spent time floating in the ocean,
 talking with other (mostly retired) folks on the beach.

We had amazing weather, the crowds were less

We did a little upgrade to the main TV to get up with the Smart TV trend,
we moved that TV to the bedroom and mounted it on the wall (finally).

Our day actually started at our favorite.
Delicious.  I mean it can't be beat!

Skipped lunch and then enjoyed all the seafood for supper (at Brotulas - above)

Ninteenaversary || Day 1

We carved out some time to spend together for our Nineteenth Anniversary!

We went to our favorite place.
We tossed around some new exciting places to visit.
But, we settled on our familiar place where we are able to truly relax.

We woke up early on Sunday morning for the drive south
and were rewarded with these views by mid afternoon.
We had long days to enjoy the views, connect with each other
and evenings to celebrate!

We read a lot of good books!

Holding onto the Last of Summer

It's hard to let summer go, so we squeeze in a bit more in late into August and September.
Joe was invited to go to Holiday World with Darrin and Shannon for a work party.
He sent us these pics (DH and I were actually away on a trip).

Pics from Sam or Joe's phones from school.
The gym floor got a facelift, looking good!

Tee hee, a quick dip after tennis practice.

These 2 pics are the only evidence that I have of a glow scramble
that Dan Sam and 2 friends played in at Boggs Lake.

Joe brought home a zuchinni plant last year from school.
It has been fruitful and will feed us into winter!
