Freezing strawberries. Oh how I love to have these handy packs in our freezer.

Love them for eating, over ice cream or angel food cake, and smoothies, yum!
They taste so fresh and remind us of sweet summer even in those winter months
DH's been gaining some favor from the Amish neighbors, that is a good deal for us you see...

So while the little men jumped and splashed, DH and I sliced and mashed
(ps we did the slicing by the pool during the splashing...my hands were covered
with strawberry juice)
When we work on freezing these berries, I think how exited the boys
will be when we pull a bag out to share with them.
Love teaching them the tradtions that are important to our family!
