Spring 2013
Back in the spring
we began a new venture
with DH as a full time farmer.
He has always LOVED farming
and a merger between JD stores caused his job to be relocated...
we did some praying and
an answer came when the same week
his uncle decided to "retire" from the family farm.
Why am I writing now?
It was hard to share.
There are still some unknowns and some tiny fears
There are still some unknowns and some tiny fears
but our God is big and he has since provided me with a few more hours
at my job (without a big change in schedule) and DH
a great part time job doing crop insurance.
We supported DH full on and "helped" him with planting one lazy Saturday afternoon
Look at my toothless boy just a few months ago
When I saw this shirt I knew we had to have it from DH.
And now a few months later, crops are ready.
It is a our favorite time of year
Sam and Joe knew he was farming last Thrusday.
Afterschool, they only took time to change their school shoes into boots
and to the field we went
This farming thing is complicated.
