We headed to Cincinnati, OH for an overnight get away for Spring Break!
DH and I have been to Kings Island for the day, otherwise the city was a first for both of us.
We wanted to go the the Creation Museum (actually in KY) for the day on Thursday.
We picked a great day because the founder, Ken Hamm, was giving a noon talk.
We sat in on this lecture for awhile, he was a fascinating man.
The museum is based soley on the Genesis..very historical and thought providing.
It was a very cold and rainy day, little of a bummer because the gardens looked beautiful!
But, we were hungry anyway had walked straight thru and got done around 2pm.
We looked for a Frisch's Big Boy, they are popular in the area.
We found one near our hotel and the food was great.
We checked into the hotel, which is a whole other story in itself.
It was still raining, boys swam a bit
The view from our balcony was beautiful.
It was too skinny to sit out there, but we certainly enjoyed it!
We stayed on KY side of river and looked in on the Cincinnati skyline.
We literally hung out in the hotel room, it was fab!
Sam begs us to order pizza delivery when we stay in a hotel...
so we did later in the night!
Boys had wifi, so they enjoyed watching some shows they like,
even shared a chair nicely!
As the night set in, our hotel had lights that changed colors on the outside,very neat.
Boys were in heaven and we turned in early and caught up on some sleep!
