Dan and I helped with the Great Garlic Harvest for Graber Hill Produce!
Grandma, Joe, Tyson and Shaylee were at bible school and Dryce and Sam
must have had better plans.
I hadn't ever harvested garlic, it was a gorgeous night
and I enjoyed the great garlic harvest!
The plow was pulled behind the tractor but had to be guided by hand, that loosened
the soil and most could be easily pulled. A few were a little more rooted and had to be "forked" out.
They were gathered in bundles in large buckets or placed on the bucket of the tractor.
Later Darrin and Shannon hung them to dry, they sell them thru the farmer's market.
