This party was FUN.
Every year Joey D asks for a pool party on his birthday.
He loves the pool and so do our friends and family.
It was easy to plan and ideas were kept simple
(and delicious, my buckets of monster marshmallows were picked clean as I came
out to put them down on the table, ha)
Anywho, outside parties are a blast, but the "pretty pictures with everything in place"
are hard to come by because as the food arrives it is quickly snatched up, ha!
Grandma had camp cook all week and Joe wanted some of her monster cookies, so she brought those and we opted for a store bought cake (his first one ever)
I love these pictures full of family that love our boys.
Blessed. So blessed.
And a lawn full of kids. LOVE that.
We ate brats and hotdogs, baked beans, chips, cookies galore, and these monster fruit skewers.
I love her. Haha. Crazy.
Cake time!
We had the kids sign the banner so that Aunt Jill and I could reach the cake to serve it.
This bunch of kiddos was excited and right of top of everything!
Haha look at Ryder's eyes, stinker
The seven year olds had a game of baseball
Joe's grandpa and grandpa great, Grandpa Great teased Joe when he got his invitation and I knew
he would come if he could :)
Joe picked to open Sam's gift first, love their friendship
Joe and his grandma :}
Can you tell they kept getting closer, ha ha!
So we all sat down and that worked better!!
Could not resist showing you that my brother and his wife were twinsies.
From the sunglasses, shirts, shorts, crossed legs, flip flops.
Yep they must have planned it, they are like that.
