We've been keeping up our summer reading with the summer reading program at the library
and we found a creative way to practice our math skills too.
I love our local library. It is just the right size and has so many choices of books.
Even though it is not located in the same building as when I was a child,
it still reminds me of fond summer times spent scouring the bookshelves.
We found these books there.
Joe's book focused on addition and subtraction and graphs
Sam's books worked on some tougher math skills
patterns, greater than, and fractions
They spent a long time playing with their math skills
and the had no idea (shhhh don't tell them)
And
the candy did not last long. We took a roadtrip to visit Aunt Christine
who was recovering from her surgery in Indianapolis, they were the perfect snack on the go!
