Lunch Date

I had lunch across from these two today.

Usually it is one beside me and one across from me.

It was fun watching them.

And correcting them {gently of course}.

I said these things a lot...

sit up straight

sit still

hands to yourself

make room for Joe

sit up

give that crayon back to Sam

get back in your seat

and of course the ever dreaded

do you want to sit by mama?

Oh,

we spilled a water

DH would be stinkin' mad

but the waitress was very kind

She said no prob that is what we are here for.

Extra tip.

And then we went to Walmart to get preschool supplies.

Sam's starts next week.

Mama will soak up some Joe lovin!

Discovery Club

Joe went to Discovery Club.

DC is a program at church on Wednesday nights at church.

All last year, Sam was able to go, but Joe was too little.

He would hang his head and make his arms drop exceptionally low

and stand there all droopy and bummed out.

We repeated this drama most Wednesday nights

while we were with the youth.

But last night was different, Discovery Club started after the summer off

And Joe is 3 and ready to go!

He was very proud of his first picture from DC!

Super cute idea, it is their thumb-print..says I can be thumb-body with Jesus.

Birthday Cupcakes

Tuesday was filled with celebration.

My friend and coworker Allison turned 21.

I hired Allison when she was like 14 {not really}

but it seems like it and it was fun to celebrate her!

I picked up and extra shift Tuesday and I thought it was going to be at another pharmacy,

but turns out I was able to make a trade and work with Allison,

so at 10p on Monday night I whipped up some cupcakes

And then after work we went to Mi Pueblo

with all our coworkers to get some yummy mexican!
