July || Time at Home!

July has provided us a couple of other quiet days at home.
After a busy June, they were very welcome.
This guys did a few scrapbook pages.
The only way to be creative is the spread out all the materials
so they were out on the bar in the basement all summer long.

And he spent some time on FortNite.
We could write more on that, it's quite a craze right now.
It has taken some diligent controls suggested from mom and dad -
We could say no altogether, but feel it important to hit the game head on!
We are encouraging him to set timers on his phone and encourage other ways to interact with friends.

This guy has no interest in video games, he creates.
From stuff, he collects stuff (all over the house) then creates from you tube videos.
We tried a projecter project, no luck so far.
He writes success/failure in his stem notebook.
Love.

My orange mint is growing and makes water tasty
and our Hydranga bloomed so pretty right as we came home from vacation!
July has been full of beauty!

Bocce with the Grabers

We enjoyed a lazy afternoon at the Grabers playing Bocce.
Apparently, this was an intriguing shot, it captured everyone's attention.

When summer days are long and there is plenty of time to create memories...

Its gets serious as a tape measure...

Fun times.

HHEscape18 || Last Day Views

Our last day called for an early sunrise for me!
It was a cloudy morning that made for spectacular views.

Tiny Crabs everywhere
and
Turtle Beach patrol

Our well used and appreciated foot washing station

Graham was awake when I got back.

Enjoyed the morning and then ate spaghetti on garlic toast at 1000am before heading to the beach
because, vacation!

My heart swells!

We packed up and headed out around 3 pm,

This was at 330pm until we stopped for some Chick-Fil-A for supper.
Sweet dreams of a vacation well spent

HHEscape18 || Day in Savannah, GA

Savannah, you were gorgeous, full of history and charm.
I'd love to visit again!

We took a trolley tour to learn about the city.
Most of us went on the tour, some stayed back at the vacation house

Graham was my date on the trolley tour (after Drew shared him)

Lunch at fun historic restaurant, good sweet tea and peach crisp

Secret tunnels where they drug drunk men out of the bar
and back out to shipping boats where they would wake the next day at sea!

Family.
Together We Have It All.

Love them, these brothers of mine.
I have been blessed.

Shopping the city streets, Paula Dean store

 Loves his uncle Cole

We waited for 30 minutes in the sun for this famous ice cream.
I chose a flavor inspired by SCAD (Savannah College of and Art Design)

We drove back to the vacation home after a great day exploring Savannah
and I hopped in the car where these goons were going to get ice cream!
When on vacation...
I skipped the second round of ice cream but
had the most divine Orangeade
I have ever tasted in my life.
And they have Kilwins in Destin, too! Yum

Back relaxing the evening away poolside
