Walker Down the Aisle Flowers

I was honored to do wedding flowers for my nephew Cole and sweet new niece Taylor's wedding.
Taylor was such a sweet and easy going bride - she had colors and a few pictures - otherwise free reign. I have learned A LOT doing these 3 weddings - I'm pretty grateful for the opportunity.
We went to buy flowers last spring and found all we needed!
Since then we've been working on the details!

Taylor's finished bouquet - with a special silver charm with her grandmothers pictures.

Sweet details.

Hoop decorations - we started with 5 but 3 looked better on stage,
we used the other two on church entrance doors.

Bridesmaids, mothers and sisters and boutonnieres

Where it all began

Headed to the church with flowers in tow!

Original idea sent to Taylor - it grew and got WAY better from here.
A very special thank you to my mom's friend Deb - who surely is my friend now too!

1st run on corsages

The Arvins did an amazing job on the reception - it was simply gorgeous.

FLL Robotics Qualifier 2019

All of our fall prep lead us to the FLL Qualifier for southern Indiana.
Our four robotics team we ready to show their work on their robots, posters, and team building.

Joe and Reid running the Robot during competition.

Their Problem Poster - they had to identify an issue in their community or major communities and develop a solution. They chose to deal with homelessness -
as a mentor I spent time shaping this to fit our community and they decided on using exiting buildings to provide shelter for homeless people or those displaced by fire or natural disaster.
We chose 2 empty buildings as examples that might work for this use.  They did great research about the impact this could have on communities.

All of our teams and our bot.

Our robot poster and programs

This team did not disappoint - FLL 39794 advances to state competition winning Core Values
and 3rd place overall.

Preparing for the robot judging portion

Waiting for their turn in core values - this was a diverse group of personalities
so winning core values was a big reward.
They came out of this room feeling great about themselves - they said the judges loved them!  Excellent way to end the poster/presentation morning and prepare for robot runs

Their first run ran perfect they scored the max points they had planned for - sweet!
This was much different than the last year, excellent process.
They had 2 more runs

Fall Becomes Winter

I bottled up a very special morning with this guy when I watched him during his mom's appointment
Jaelyn had her first basketball game so we sent her a GO LIONS from this future Jug Rox guy!
His sweet sweet smile!

We were able to support Quinn's dedication at church. So had much family there to support her!

An early November snow day - I had off so spending it with family was so very nice.
We got ready to have family over - Cole's wedding was coming right up!
We had planned to pull out of fall landscaping and trim it back...we were a little late for this!
And these cold days seem here to stay!
Snapping some Christmas pics of Blake and Noah's kiddos!

Sam's friends have been over a couple of different times - LOVE having them here.
I love the chatter that fills the basement.

And a sweet reminder from days gone past - Oh how I long for those sweet smiles.
I sent it to my nieces and told them to bottle up these looks!
