We all enjoyed our ride on the Incline Railway!
We bought the tickets before I remembered how much our boys
don't like rides. But, Sam was a champ and was ready but Joe
took some convincing. Once we were on board, he was ready!
It was fascinating hearing the history and watching to pulley system.
It was a INCLINE for sure! We were at a 72 percent grade, wow! It is located right in the middle of an older neighborhood on top of the mountain, we boarded here went down and came back up.
You can also do it the other way!
The cars were made at an incline to accommodate the track. They pass each other midway
up the track on every pass due to the pulley system, so cool.
We rode back up the mountain on separate cars due to space. Sam and I waiting on the second care, Sam chose the very front seat
for a bird eye view all the way up the track. Very neat!
