Kayaking the Mangroves

We went kayaking on the mangroves - it was one of the highlights of the trip for sure! 

We had a great morning for it weather wise - with the exception of the tides - they were low and I had to walk and drag Joe and my canoe a couple of times lol 

It was peaceful on the water We all loved it 

And the mangroves were so cool! 

Days with Friends

We spent part of two days with our friends the Memerings! They were staying on Anna Maria Island so we drove up to hang out with them. We found them out in the beach and joined them

And that’s all the proof we have lol. We were out in the beach and a storm came out of NOWHERE eeks 

And we were drenched by the time we got back so we dried out and hung out for the afternoon on the porch then had dinner at a great restaurant on the island 

Joe has this orange drink and loved it- he took a pic lol 

We saw a beautiful sunset 🌅 

And  the evidence that Joe likes supper. 

And the next day they came down to Pinecraft to see it for themselves - lol! They played basketball and rode the golf  cart and also ate at Der Dutchman

The Best Seafood

We found some of the best seafood Sarasota had to offer at Walt’s 🦞 Seafood. 

We waited a long while but I’m thankful for these boys who gave into a selfie with mom. 

You all. I am not kidding this lobster dish was fabulous. 

And Dans too.
