Cataract Falls

           

We haven't wasted any Saturdays!

It has been 25 years since I haven't worked every other Saturday.

I love waking up on Saturdays now!

We spent this one jeepin to Cataract Falls.

                

It was a super nice day and this park had picturesque views!

Cataract Falls is falls with the most continuous water flowing over it in Indiana. 

The boys moved across these rocks fearlessly.  

There was no way to keep up with them, especially Sam. 

Dad had already hiked up to the top and was able to snap a pic from above.

Gosh, I love these adventures.  

And our original plan included stopping in Spencer for lunch,

but I felt a raindrop and we spent the next 45 minutes out running this.

And by the time we stopped, it was 2pm after an all morning hike.

We were HUNGRY and the choices were slim...so pizza hut big box

in the parking lot never tasted so good!

What a fun memory.

Jaelyn’s Senior Volleyball Season

We've loved catching Jaelyn's senior volleyball season.

In true 2020 fashion, the season was not a guarantee, but she has made it

to Sectional week!  Woohoo!

Super proud of her and her teammates. This senior class is a special one,

I will miss watching them next year.  They are all destined for great things!

💕She has had a great season.  All the girls have remained healthy so far - and we

they played the full season!  Looking forward to sectional this week.   

For the Loogootee Barr Reeve game, the gym was at the state mandated max so the gym

was divided.  Joe and his friend Tye stood at this gate most of the night talking form

their sides of the gate.  Nothing separates friendship!

The rounds of basketball in the driveway have continued.

Joe generally ends frustrated.

He thinks he should win.

He is definitely more competitive. 

He admitted this week tho that the games help him a lot.  

Trader Joe's Orange Chicken and brown rice is his favorite meal right now!

And peep a fall watermelon.  It didn't get much bigger but it was actually pretty sweet when

we opened it!

Took a few hours to soak up the last of summer

How high could he make it go?  His goal was the shelf above his desk.

He made it!

A fort nite victory for Joe.  

Just keeping it real.  

Same spent more time at the driving range.  He asked me to return his chips to him for more practice,

I was happy to participate.

Unfortunately, robotics is all virtual this year.  The school can't allow volunteers

so our school decided not to participate.  Joe's teacher asked if

the mat and challenges could come to our house instead of not getting used at all.

It's already seen some love!
