Fall Basketball!

Sam started fall basketball today.

He plays on the Loogootee Gold 3rd grade team with a couple buddies and cousin Drew.

Some of his other classmates play for Loogootee Black

 He was more aggressive in the second game.

 The boys had a big cheering section.  Blake and Noah  and Scott and Chris came to watch today.

Love seeing JFK used again since the new floor.  This gym has seen a lot of games!

Simple Fall Crafts!

I had a mini craft session this afternoon before basketball games!

Joe help me paint some scrap wood blocks to make some new pumpkins.

He is always up for a quick craft.  He lost interest today though.

He didn't like that they were square, ha!

 

Took some wood pieces that I had on hand and wrapped them in twine

for the stem

And some left over batman decorations from a couple years ago

 with a spray painted picture that I wasn't using any longer.

Plus some branches and black ribbon.

We got all spooky at the Grabers...

Lark's Farm 2014

It has been way to many years since we went to this gem tucked into the hills of Loogootee!

But yesterday was the day!

DH has been working long hard hours at the farm and he was busy again, so we headed out after basketball practice.  It was windy and chilly, but the sun was shining so it was perfect for fall fun.

This was our last trip...

Oh my how my babes have grown!

We did the maze twice this year, what fun it was with two adventurous boys!

Oh these boys, crack me up.

We left with some gems, a corn 'sword' from the maze, and a memories of a day of fun!
