When Rain Floats Your Boat!

We have had a lot of rain lately

and especially yesterday.  Everytime I looked out at work, it was pouring.

After work and supper and working on 4H projects, at 815, we made homemade boats

and took them outside to see if they would float in our rain water stream.

 DH has worked hard on this waterway over the last couple years.  He brings home

field rocks from the farm to hold the creek so it does not become bigger.

I like the result, looks very pretty.

We loved exploring it last night.

30 minute jump!

After the Stoll swim, we snuck a quick trip

to Evansville in for 4H supplies from Hobby Lobby.

That was not the point of the trip for my 3 boys

who all agreed that we had time for a 30 min jump

at Sky Zone.

They were right, we did.

And the hot sweaty we had so much fun mom smiles

were very worth it.

And they were both very satisfied with their 30 min

because there was no crowd or lines at all.

Spent most of their time playing quick rounds of dodge ball.

Sam hangs in the back row and sneaks in a victory, sneaky guy.

And Joe claimed a win too

Stoll's pool side

Tuesday some of the Stoll family came over to spend time poolside.

I had the best job.  Miss Madelyn was simply perfect.
