Every other year on the second to last weekend in July,
we gather with the Grandma Jean's Stoll family.
It's a group of people we treasure.
This year there was a Stoll wedding on Saturday (previous post)
so the reunion was on Sunday at a park in Fort Wayne where many in the family live.
We opened the reunion with singing, church, and family update time (my favorite, it always come with tears and joys and prayer needs).
These 3 had big plans for the day. I think they checked most off their list.
It was smoking hot so the trails were cut a bit short and traded for an (unplanned) swim.
Tyson, Joe and Michael.
I cannot look at this pictures without rejoicing at the story that adoption
has played in the Stoll family.
I am thankful for those in the family that went before us in trusting God's plan thru adoption
and those that came after us, as well.
These three boys would not be cousins if it weren't for God's redeeming plan of adoption.
And I assure you that when we gather, there is not time loss reconnecting for these 3 -
A long game of bocce ball was enjoyed.
Sam and Dan came out on top, I'm sure they will want me to record that memory, ha.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch where the Stoll desserts were in full force.
This family doesn't mess with sweet, they bring it!
Stoll sisters Clara, Jean and Darla
Bubbles for the littles
And that swim for some.
It's hard to capture all the conversations had, the connections strengthened, and the memories shared.
Those are there for those who could attend to remember,
to build upon,and to treasure!
