North West Adventure || Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Canada

Day 3  (gasp, we packed a lot in) of our adventures took us
to Canada - officially.

The border is only about 30 min north of their home and we
flew right thru on the way up - the way home was a different story.
We were back to the Blaine crossing where we had visited the Peace Arch Park.

Welcome to Canada.

We took a picture of the corn to show papaw that Canadian corn
looks the same as American corn.

Vancouver was a bit North of the border and we saw the town that
Nicole was born in.

Our first official stop was at Tim Horton's
for Timbits.

We did the Timbit up right getting the 50 pack!

The donut hole like balls were a big hit and fun treat on our way North.

Our destination was nestled in a neighborhood in the middle of Vancouver.

It had a large Native influence, historical in nature.
It was based on a man that had a made a raft and provided a way across the flowing water below.

The only was to go when you enter the park (and get to the rest of it)
is this HUGE suspension bridge.

This would be my only picture on the way over.
It moved A LOT ( and moving water way far down in the ravine below).
And people
And swaying
And heavens, the walk over was not my most comfortable moment in life.
Mama just wanted it to be OVER!
Everyone else seemed to enjoy it.

We found our adventure maps on the other side,
there were stations dotted thru the park to get an embossed stamp and complete the chart.

I enjoyed the tree tops adventure, they were more my jam.
Not as long
Not as swaying
Not as far off the ground.

Loved the nature walk

The trip back across was MUCH better!

Super fun adventure.
