Golf 2021 ⛳️ Freshman

I love wathcing him play.

I appreciate the time spent watching him on the course with the chance 

to give him encouragment if he looks my way.

It doesn't come super easy to him, but he keeps consistent and works hard at golf.

I am thankful to make all the meets this year, this was important to me.  

Either Dan or I made them all or we split to make it to Joe's junior high baseball.

I am proud of Sam for working thru frustrating shots, often times coming out of that hole with a pretty good score.

Senior Prom 🔼 Flowers

Of course, I was pretty excited that Jaelyn asked me to make her senior prom flowers.  She picked her colors and asked for wrist style again.  

I love her choices -classic red roses with black accents. We had glitter ribbon, feathers, rhinestones and ribbon flowers.  It turned out very pretty.

Grand March was held virtual so  I didn't get to see her in person.  But we watched and enjoyed seeing all her pictures! 

I got to go prom dress shopping with her and friends and their moms this year and she look stunning in this dress! 

Drew went to prom this year as well, Looks like they had a great time!

Joe was a Beta officer this year - while it was forced to be virtual for 20-21, our club was successful!

This crew of cousins (+ Landrey who goes to another school) are all within a few months of each other and are Walker Great Grands.Their Great Aunts sure are proud of these smart cookies.

It was a beutiful day for Easter 2021.

The pandemic made us miss the celebrations Easter 2020.

Oh, we still celebrated our risen savior both years, but

it was fun to be together with family.

Glimpse of Spring

We invited family over at the first sight of spring.  When the weather gets warmer and days seem longer, everyone's mood is just a little bit brighter!  Loved having everyone together.

Walker and Quinn are quite the pair, Quinn is older by about 5 months and they can encourge each other to get into anything!

Spring Break 2021

A trip to the condo simply does not disappoint.  

A little escape from all the restrictions of everyday life in COVID times

was just what our family needed!  

The weather was cooler than other trips we have taken - sweatshirts and shorts were perfect for parts of the day.  The sun was warm and it felt pretty nice! 

Joe and I discovered we loved walks out on the pier.  He walked the pier a couple times on his own.  Its a fishing pier for certain - we saw coolers, fish, poles, chairs, leurs and fish guts too eeks

It was warm enough to soak up the sun, we didn't miss a chance.  

The water was a deeper blue green instead of the emerald waters we are used to. 

McGuires was big hit this trip - boys loved the steak.  

We always find time for games!  A favorite!! 

A windy day with big waves and umbrellas still folded.

DH and Sam spent 2 days golfing while Joe and I hung out.  Great trip! 

Spring Tidbits

I spent countless hours planning and organizing our trip out west to find a route that would

work best for our trip.  It looks like from this screenshot our locations were adjusted a bit.  

  I am thankful now that I did so much research and planning.  

Looking back on our two week trip out west will be some of our best memoires forever!

And countless meaningful hours spent here as well.

This junior youth group has our heart.  

We have loved every minute of mentoring and guiding them over the last couple years! 

Isn't this true? Every day we are given opportunites to develop our character.  

Back at Bankers 2021

It felt incredible to be back at Bankers for Round 2 of 

IHSAA Girls State Basketball Championship.

They played their hearts out.

We believed and cheered our hearts out.

Our girls came home State Runner Up this year! 

Homecoming 2021

Sandwiched right in the middle of their Basketball State Run - these girls had 

LHS Homecoming - celebrated during the boys basketball games!  

Their homecoming was "ify" due to COVID - but the school held it on a Thursday night

and the girls lef the next morning for BANKERS! 

Jaelyn looked beautiful, the kids loved seeing here dressed up.  She is with her escort Silas, 

who dunked the ball a homecoming tradition!
