#CardsCubs

The point of the little weekend trip was for Noah to watch the Cubs play.
Blake got him tickets for their wedding gift.
We were happy to tag along for the whole weekend.
Our family is long time Cardinals fans, so having a Cubs fan (who is converting his new bride)
in the family is something else.
We rode a shuttle over to the game and caught one in the 8th inning on the way back (Cards up 8-1 so we left early to beat the crowd)
Sam took some cool pics for me at the game.

We sat in the left field bleachers.
Very good seats.
It was, by far, the nicest weather we have had for a game.
Sun was going down and a light breeze.  Could have sat here a long while.

Joe's pic of Molina

Sorry Cubbie fans...Cards came out on top!

For her Walker aunts (so she wasn't disowned)
It was her 1st major league baseball game, happy to experience it with her

Crazy sky?!? Excited boy about a cards double

Epic Dessert in St Louis

After the city museum, we headed over to Anhueser Busch to get a factory tour...but so did
everyone who was in town for the Cardinals game.
We opted out of the tour b/c we couldn't wait that long.
It is still a neat place, tons of history and facts about the company.

Our hotel wasn't ready yet and it left just enough time to slip in
Linner or Lupper and it hit the spot!
We ate at Joe Buck's BBQ.
The dessert was worth talking about.
This is not a joke.  My boys knew about it from their last trip
and DH said it was big, but we had no idea.

How did she even pick him up after all that ice cream?!?

He was eating it up

Then we checked into the hotel just in time for a quick swim (and quick it was...kids weren't allowed in hot tub shown here and the pool was FRIGID) -so yep we moved the party back upstairs where Blake and Noah were trying to take a nap ;). Of course, we texted on our way back up!!!

Our hotel was very pretty, we loved our little suite, turned out perfect!

City museum -the rest of the awesome place

Sorry Noah, Sam didn't think the rest of your face was important!

We watched the ball pit from above for awhile, but I had to join the fun.
And it was that, and beats you up a bit.

See DH, he was constantly firing at us.

Too silly

We stood in line forever (and I may have had to set a few people straight in front of us
who were cutting the line, ahem) to ride a 10 story side.
Get to the front and Sam DID not want to go down, bless his heart,
We did anyway and he recovered quickly once we reached the bottom and were
all reunited again.

See? He came around and climbed thru whales and tunnels and trees and tunnels
that I would not enter. ever.

Up over my head, love it.
