Sam had another important milestone last week.
He earned his first Loogootee Lion basketball jersey.
He has been practicing for a second grade basketball team playing in a fall league.
Watching this kid and the pride he felt when he put his jersey on...
awesome.

I am impressed with these kids and their skills.
They run plays on offense and play some good defense.
Sam has a little ways to go on his skills.
He knows them, but thinks a lot before he puts them into action.
But,
he is having the time of his life.
