So very proud of this boy for finishing run club this fall!
A great program started last year at school encouraging 3-4th grade to run a 5K,
this fall the added the 1st and 2nd grade in a 1 mile club.
They met on Wednsday's after school for 6 weeks.
Sam looked forward to it every week.
All of his buddies were there. Some parents, staff and high school
boys ran with them too.
It was HOT a lot of the days and Sam came home drenched.
They were given a keychain with a foot charm every week they attended
I was lucky to see Sam this Wednesday because most day I am working!
We had to miss the final run because we were on a little trip south to Florida.
It fell the day they got out for Fall Break.
When we got back he got his TShirt.
A program that I was excited to sponsor from WB.
So important to encourage kids to find a passion in something.
It is also important to teach them to finish activities that they start!!
