Nashville Lights!

We enjoyed a great October weekend away to celebrate a friend's 40th!
We set off on Saturday morning after a hectic week!
We decided on an area that we thought had Antique Archaeology (American Pickers)
and it did have a small gift shop but that was it.
The buildings in the area were rich with history about Marathon Automobiles,
but it lacked much to do...we walked around a bit
and then headed to the hotel.

We relaxed a bit before getting ready to head down and meet the group.
At which point, I realized we didn't pack a shirt for the evening.
We made a rush trip out and found a replacement and joined the group right on time!

Our first stop in downtown Nashville was at Acme Feed and Grain.
It was a casual atmosphere with excellent rooftop views.
I enjoyed a Bento box for dinner and Dan had pork nachos (crazy menu)

I soaked up much time with my sweet girl Hanna.
I am so thankful for her and our friendship!

We spent most of the evening here enjoying the rooftop views (again)
and the live band.

And I think this girl that has become a great friend because our husbands
share a love of all things farm and family had a great great 40th!
Happy Birthday, Courtney!  Enjoyed spending your celebration with you!

Great time away!  Woke up early Sunday and headed back to the boys and a full day of activities!
