Our church put on a Cricket County Christmas play this year - these are plays that are very funny and they bring out the true meaning of Christmas.
I was so blessed this year by Dan joining the cast because we spent A LOT of Sunday afternoons starting in October thru December together at practices at church.
One Sunday we woke up at 3am to drive home from Florida to make practice that afternoon.
We had mixed feeling about that, ha!
We laughed and laughed at ourselves a number of times while we practiced!
We learned to know some people better because we had to act like fools at times...totally worth it.
We enjoyed lunch and supper together the day of the play because we needed to be there all day!
We had a feast style food set up-yum!
And finally we were dressed and ready for our characters and dress rehearsal.
We laughed at each other in costume.
And since Dan and I played 2 different couples in the play we were ready for our 1st couple- Dorothy and Walter a local couple who come in for some vittles.
We filled the church twice for our productions - 700 plus people!
And our costume change made us Judge George and Ramona Galloway - we took our helicopter
to this humble little diner in the mountains. It was almost too much for Ramona to bear especially when she encountered a live chicken in the bathroom!
My too small pink heels were Shaylee's favorite -she got to take them home!
Thankful for our family who came to watch us! Fun memories with this group!
