The GOAT Trip || Day 1

We planned ahead and created a 4 day weekend to head to the condo.
And we could have called this trip almost anything (or nothing at all)
but the boys have fun helping me with blog post titles...
and recently everything has been
 THE GOAT
at our house.
The Greatest of All Time (dinner, bed, you name it) as a mom of boys who love all things sports and ESPN, etc,
you just roll with it.
And so, everything this trip was the GOAT.

Mom let them bring the PS 4  - the goat.

They chose Bojangles - the goat ( only the tea for mom, she could do without the rest)
but we had hit some traffic in Nashville so when we finally stopped it tasted good!

We woke on Friday to cloudy skies but an amazing view, its pretty rain or shine.

A moment later the sun peeked thru- the GOAT.

The waves were strong all weekend, red flags

We took an early morning stroll down to the pier
and we captured all sorts of shells talked sea life,
tides and life.  This kid has big goals.

We woke up the other two for a breakfast at our very favorite,
and we had perfect timing because it stormed while we were enjoying breakfast.

We were back poolside before lunchtime.
I LOVED LOVED this book.

Sharing a part of the book with Sam, we had a nice conversation
about his cell phone rules. We agreed we are on track and he understood
some of the rules we have put into place.
The GOAT(ish)

We were outside right in the middle of this...
it was not raining and didn't rain until late that evening.
I think we dodged a rainy afternoon!

It was cloudy, though!

How lucky am I to spend the afternoon with these boys?

And the perfect condo supper...grilled turkey strips
and microwave mac and cheese, ha!

We went out to find some books at our favorite Books and Million
and hunted down the Kilwins (we loved it in Hilton Head)!

He got free sprinkles!
