Oh how the back to school shopping has changed.
They need much less, if any help gathering supplies.
We or maybe I still enjoy heading to Walmart or Target to gather the items on the list.
This year I ran into a treasured college friend, Jenni which made it even sweeter!
We buy very few (none) new clothes with the exception of shoes.
They wear *ONLY* athletic clothes and we have plenty of those, and
they grow by the time they need pants!
The store was out of or didn't have compasses and Joe found this one
in Grandma's desk. He was excited to use use what he said practically an original compass.
Sam has worked on a you tube channel this summer.
It has encouraged his computer skills and seems to work in favor for
his confidence (so far). I enjoy watching him work on it.
I wasn't in favor of it much, so I asked him to present me a plan
of how it works and what he planned to post.
The last of these lists...no more supply list when high school hits!!
And a big first came for this guy with back to school
We have a trumpet player!
Well, we have a trumpet "note" maker, so far.
Getting his supplies ready, his year has gone very well so far.
He found out he made Beta club this year and we very happy about that.
He gets most his work done at school this year. Mom thinks he might need
to bring some home, but he completely disagrees! LOL
Joe is having a bit of a transition year so far. His grades are good, but he's growing up for sure.
We've had some growing pains with his newly issued birthday phone, much to be expected, ha!
He continues to love math and art. Robotics club has started and he's excited to get building on his Bot.
And that ever important back to school pic!
Back to School 2019
Joe - 6th grade Mrs Nikki Wagoner
Sam - 8th grade
And because I am so far behind - school pics are already back!
Of note, Sam chose his shirt! He wanted to remember his favorite golf polo.
Joe picked his too, it was a compromise tho
- he wanted to wear a St Louis jersey...AGAIN this year.
