Just an August Saturday

We found an August Saturday with a bit cooler (70-80s) temps.
We helped dad around the farm loading grain for Monday morning transport.
Sam was in the bin (this makes mom gasp a bit, but he was sweeping the floor so it was safe).
He also seemed to know what he was doing, went right to work with the broom pushing corn
towards the large sweep. It was way too dusty for pics.

Joe had stayed with Grandma and Grandpa all weekend camping
and he came while we were working.

We did some work around our house too trying to seed this area with grass.

Grandpa working on a camper leak, he won't ever stop climbing!

Cooling off after we worked in the yard.

Grandma made cinnamon rolls on the fire!  I heard they were great!

My mom loved volunteer morning glories, my farmer does
not feel the same about them. They are very invasive and choke out their crops.
Those flowers sure look charming!

I had a birdseye view of the farm while I watching corn come into the truck.

All cooled off after a splash thru the pool.

We made the best of our stick piles and roasted hot dogs over them for lunch.
Sam's special fishing/fire pole from Grandpa sure looks a lot smaller when he holds it these days.
I'm not sure if the pole has gotten smaller or what!?! LOL.
