I earned a weekend away at the Conrad in Indy - a little work and a little fun!
Dan and I had a fun day in Greenwood and then headed up to check in at the Conrad - we relaxed a bit then went to walk around circle center - I love the view of our hotel from the arts garden - never tire of that!
We had a late Devour Downtown reservation scheduled at St Elmos steakhouse - it did not disappoint! That shrimp cocktail is something to talk about! And the filet was great too.
Dessert was delicious too - and my company wa pretty special too.
Saturday I spent the day in meeting delving back into our company - Dan drive back home because both boys played ball - he watched Sam then surprised me by bringing him back up. They went to some action movie that Sam was sure I would not have liked. He grabbed Chick Fil A and was looking forward to hanging out in the room while Dan and I went down for WB dinner.
He’s been writing a book on his school computer- so he worked on that listened to the Lion game and watched TV - he was in digital heaven!
He loved the hotel and breakfast there the next morning!
We drove around our old neighborhood, Trophy Club.
The old house looks really good. Love remembering living here starting our life together - just the two of us!
We spent sometime looking around Indy for Sam - he picked the PGA golf store and then the mall for new shoes.
We didn’t find any yet but I like these white ones looking back!
And we were happy to return back home to this guy - his treat that he looks forward to after the weekend- the Sunday comics that we bring back!
