1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Sam had come to us back in the fall of 19 and asked about getting baptized.
He was curious about instruction class with our church, so we got with church leadership
and he began studying and drawing closer to God.
We are thrilled with Sam's decision to desire to be baptized and further his relationship with God.
It reminded me of the day we dedicated him to the Lord while we were in Guatemala
And the day we dedicated him at church when he made it home in our arms.
And many days of prayers and actions placing God in the forefront since those early days.
But, what a joy when the desire becomes his own.
Sam requested one of Grandma's famous cakes.
My people!
Sam spoke at church and it was very heartfelt. He even thanked Ed and Dave for having class.
We had such a nice gathering of family to support Sam.
They day was so nice! DH made some delicious pulled pork.
