We found an online Spanish class for Joe to take this summer.
It's one on one for an hour each week and then lessons to work on in between.
He and Colleen have fun together and he enjoys practicing in between!
We found a baby bunny nest in our yard and enjoyed watching them get brave enough to come out!
We have lived here for 13 years and I guess we've just always been too busy to notice if we've had
baby bunnies before - enjoyed the time to find them.
We've seen birds nest hatch and now we found a salamander nest too!
We've had nights to stop by and have the Callahan Crew entertain us!
Those smiles would melt you!
Sam is a pro at homemade pizza. I'm not complaining!
Joe has had a summer of naps! He fell asleep taking a semi load of beans to market
and DH sent me a picture, said his passenger wasn't very talkative.
And he's added a new hammock to our back patio - loves to read and nap there!
DH and Sam have had plenty of time to golf this year, Joe and I took one of the mornings...a Saturday (ahem, I would have been working) and had some breakfast together!
The baseball card collection has been sorted!
And the Stoll cousins came over to swim one day - I was working and was sad to miss it.
Aunt Darla sent me some pictures.
Time for snuggles at Grandma's with cousin Carson.
There has been time to bake chocolate chip cookies.
And work on our golf game.
We beat the heat one night with a game of Catan.
It's daylight a long time this time of year so we pack extra fun in some evenings.
Joe rode with Uncle Chiggie up to Drew's tournament one day.
Will thought Joe would be noisy but he looked over and saw this.
Drew and Joe fought like brothers all the way home.
Joe really enjoyed it.
Grandma and Grandpa put up a new basketball goal for the family to enjoy.
The cows were picture perfect one morning on my walk so I snapped a shot.
And my goodness look how these boys have grown.
Hard to believe they will be freshmen this year.
They spent the day at the boat club with The Lengachers.
Joe and I got a date night while dad and Sam were golfing.
We went and got stuff to have family over for a swim party
and we ate at Applebee's - he talked me into splitting the meal
so we could spring for the $1.99 trivia game at the table.
He can talk me into a lot of things!
Dryce and his date Trinity looked so nice for prom! Dryce said they had a good time.
And it was a very nice weekend for cousin Lucas and Karlee's wedding.
Summer is simply the best in my book.
