We snuck in a quick trip to Holiday World
on their last weekend for 2020.
Sam won tickets at a golf scramble and we wanted to make sure we used them!
I had went with Dan to take beans to Evansville and on the way home, I checked their
website and realized they were closing early this year- you know, 2020.
We got home around 10 and started to head out, then Dan called and said he was coming home to go with us. It was an overcast day, a little on the chilly side and the beans were not going to dry in time to harvest. We waited a few minutes and he joined us!
It was actually fairly crowded.
There were lines an all the rides that were operating.
Our favorite required a reserved spot, so we only rode once.
We all thoroughly enjoyed the day tho, no agenda, it was cool so no waterpark.
We just took our time and walked 16,000 steps - so good day no matter what we accomplished!
Does anyone ever win at ring toss?
Sam thought it looked so easy.
The racing games were my mom's favorite, this one you rolled the ball
and the horses trot along. Joe won this time.
And at the end of day, I even got a HW 2020 picture -with willing smiles.
We had a very good day.
