We had a chilly Sunday afternoon at the farm for Joe to play in the snow.
We had church in the morning and evening despite the weather because we had
church meetings and an announcement from Uncle Ed, the pastor. He will
be transitioning into retirement over the next couple years. Our elder Dave will be stepping up to preach at our church. We are thankful for great leadership at our church.
And thankful for a crisp sunny Sunday to play in the snow.
The neighbor Amish boy had a horse pulling him on his sled.
Dad got stuck in a tough drift in the driveway so we trudged across the garden to their house.
Sam was not into the cold and spent most of the day in the house. He enjoyed hot chocolate
and popcorn.
The snow does not slow down the horse and buggies although this one did slip going up the hill in front of the house.
The next morning it was frozen - everything. And darn cold but there are not delays for work. Boo.
Caught Joe playing in the snow later in the day. He was loving it and building a fort.
