Dan and I are blessed beyond measure to be a part of a 2 year new Christian Music Event.
It has been a giant blessing we didn't even know we were looking for!
On Friday June 14, we watched as God brought between 3,000 and 4,000 community members
together for a FREE music festival.
There are doubts and fears that crop up in the planning but every single time
God comes thru big and shows us that were 2 or 3 gather, he promises to be present.
God was present on that lawn.
We saw...
People of all ages, races, religions, ways of life
Christian Music sung by 3 different groups to suit tastes of many
Arms raised in Worship
Heads bowed in prayer
Smiles and encouraging words
Friends, families, gathered together
We arrived at the event in the morning (not quite as early as planned as I woke to a flat tire, not today devil, not today) to see the sound crew in full swing, the members of We are Messengers were arriving as well. We set up tents and bleachers and fed the crews working.
The weather was simply perfect.
We were blessed to spend some time with Michael Cochran
and Darrin from We Are Messengers.
They have testimonies and are using their gifts for the Lord.
Darrin is from Ireland so he was very interested in the community here, buggy rides
and golf cart rides, Amish cooking and the small Dollar Stores.
The gates opened at 6 and it was a sweet sweet sites to see the community coming together!
One of my favorite families also came, so blessed by the joy they bring us!
So many volunteers from food to parking to selling merchandise for the performers.
It started to sprinkle and Noah took one for the team, you better believe Dan was not giving up Quinn!
The radar looked like this, but God.
It only sprinkled.
This group came last year and couldn't wait to return. and I enjoyed watching them worship together

Only God can create views like this and keep FB from shutting us out!

And I am also so very thankful for our friends who asked us to plan with them, I love how our friendship is growing. We have met for a wrap up and to begin for next year.
We heard testimony of a gentleman that was just at the campground near the event to drink and fish for the weekend. He felt led to come over to listen to the music and was touched by God!
And think of all the folks that intended to gather there that night, our prayer was that each one of them enjoyed the evening!
We received a love offering that we are donating a portion to a local charity, Matthew 25.
We have a nest egg to being next year and for that we are thankful.
