It is HOT in our neck of the woods.
Sam asked for a break from the pool last week, so we decided
to use our free afternoon Sunday following church for a family day!
I've been following our local Groupon offers and snagged a great deal
at Walther's....We did all this plus had a large pizza and four unlimited soft drinks
for $20! Ok, make that $21 dollars because
DH let the boys each choose one arcade game they wanted to play!
Joe rode the motorcycle -
love that smile, ready for adventure!
And Sam played super scoop...he loves these machines
asks to play them everytime we see time (ahem, Walmart exit...ergh)
Could they be any harder?
We didn't win.
But the anticipation of that smile is worth it!
We played unlimited mini golf
{which was one round,ha}
{pretend}
And we played in the monkey mountain for free
while we waited for our name to be called
for....
LAZER TAG!
It was a first for all of us
and just like all other things we tackle
the parentals were a little nervous about having a boy glued
to each of our legs...but were we wrong.
We entered this dark room with a fog machine and black lights
A few obstacles set around and off they went with lazer packs in hands.
They both LOVED it! So did the DHubs and I. Tons of fun!
We compared our scorecard over pizza and drinks.
And as we left the ticket counter man boosted our tickets so the boys
could each get a fun prize, they choose these scary teeth
But shortly turned into something much sweeter!
This was a serious family value!
Their regular package is double this price, but even for that it is great fun!
