The Lady Lions Regional or FINAL FOUR game was scheduled at 4pm
on Saturday in Jasper - the perfect time and place for me the fit in my Saturday
work and still make it to the game! That meant I missed only 1 tourney game!
Whoop! And I was ready to cheer on the Lions from work
as they were escorted out of town at 2 to head to Jasper..I made a quick sign
to go out to the road. I was told by my brother that I might have looked a little excited
and danced a crazy jig - oh well - he was probably right! And if you can't laugh at yourself..well then!
Here comes the bus! Parents were all following behind!
We brought a bunch of fans to cheer on our team at Semi-State.
She sure can play some defense.
Fan Block chose Country since we played a "city" school - Greenwood Christian.
The game was close until half time - the third quarter belonged to the Lady Lions
and they built an impressive lead.
We have a lot of community ties on the team, that happens in a small town. Lifelong friends as coaches, their girls - Jaelyn's friends and daughters of our friends. What a group.
Full of amazing role models.
Great athletes. Better kids.

when they weren't playing themselves. What a feeling this team has created - the pride
they have generated for our schools!
