The end of an era.
These 8th grade boys have given us a great ride.
They season came to an end at Jammin in Jasper the weekend of girls state.
They played their best run in the tournament this year making it the to semi finals!
They did this sandwiched in the middle of the state run.
They played Friday night at 6 and 8, winning both to got 2-0 in pool play.
Drove to Indy to support sisters, cousins and school mates
for the state tourney title on Saturday morning, then celebrated with them
and played Saturday night at 9pm - then played from 9am-5pm on Sunday!
They lost Evansville Christian who they had beat in the season in the semi finals.
It was a great tourney.
S
They have given us much to be proud of!
And in the middle of all of this weekend-I had the most enjoyable time with my college
roomie Katie and her son Aaron- they came down for the tourney and stayed with us.
We ate late together on Friday night and I am glad we did! They played while we were gone to Indy
and we passed their house on the way home while they were at our house relaxing.
They watched our game Saturday night then we all supported each other on Sunday.
Lots of catching up and Joe and Aaron hit if off, too.
And not one photo - I don't know how I managed that.
But, no photos needed - it was a great time indeed.
