Sarasota, FL

We left Christmas afternoon and arrived in Sarasota FL around 5am on 12/26.

I texted my brother to wish him a Happy Birthday back in IN.

I said sunny and 75.

He text back - wind gusts of 75 here...

It was beautiful.  We had good weather.

Not wear your bathing suit and strut your stuff weather, but who want to do that in December anyway?

We ate breakfast out and enjoyed a leisurely first day.

We enjoyed the local Farmer's Market and picked up fresh shrimp at the Whole Foods Store.

And we did some thrift store shopping

We headed to Lido Beach as the sunset, but it was getting chilly and Joe had a cough so Grandma kept him at home.

Lido Beach was full of shells.

Sam had lots of fun this trip with his cousin Dryce.

Then it was time for our almost nightly trip to get some Ice Cream at Big Olafs...

Hey, we walked there to get it, that counts, right???
