Sam's 1st grade class just finished a unit on hibernation.
It really interested him, we got our favorite book about hibernation read it and he
took it to school to share. Students were asked to bring a bear in on Friday for hibernation.
I grabbed his favorite Fluffy and put it by his backpack and heard pleas of NO NOT FLUFFY!
When I asked why he said Fluffy cannot go into hibernation for the whole winter I would miss him.
The above bear made the trek to school (and came back the same night). Silly kiddos!
