Friday Well Spent

Friday was a day well spent!
Friday morning we joined the LHS
Fellowship of Christian Athlete's Club
for a kickoff to the school year prayer breakfast.
Love, love, love that our school supported this activity -
it was spirit filled!
We enjoyed breakfast, heard from Noah
(who leads FCA, so thankful he is being obedient to God's calling to organize this group),
had praise and worship, an excellent message and prayed for all aspects of  our schools!

We came home and Joe crashed after his week at camp!

Sam helped me get things ready around the house
for Joe's big 11th birthday party that was coming up.

And I worked on some Dude Perfect party decorations, handmade
since the only kit available was $99 - gasp!
Handmade is better anyway!

Then, Joe went with a friend to celebrate his birthday - their days are only 5 apart!
So, that left Sam and I for a day - DH was at field day for their seed corn company.
We decided to go look for a new outfit for school and allow him to spend a bit
of his money he earned at home and the farm this summer.
And he fell asleep, too - that camp, though!

We had Sam's favorite, pizza for lunch.
It was delicious, but I enjoyed the company even more.
We talked about all things jr high.

We enjoyed Hibbett and Kohl's where he actually choose a pair of shorts and a new shirt.

And his choice: Gamestop, we didn't find a thing.
But we looked a lot!

He chose a gift card for playstation at Walmart
and also chose one for Joe with some baseball cards.
He was meticious when he wrapped Joe's gift.
He was very choosy in spending his money on Joe, wanted just the right thing!
Doing our very best to soak up these moments..,Each and every one of them.
