On the eve of eleven we blow up balloons
a place them alongside the birthday boys gifts.
And then you lay in bed as long as you can and soak up the last moments
of him being 10. You spend time giggling and playing with snapchat filters.
And then you leave him giggling while you start to reminisce and get a little sad
about tomorrow being eleven.
And on Sunday morning before church
you let that guy open his gift from family
and celebrate with him.
It was a Dude Perfect kind of birthday!
And you take that boy for a pop (with no shirt, that was dad) at 7am
for a very good reason, that gets its own post!
