October marked a very special month in our family.
We celebrated 10 forever family years with Joe.
It was only fitting to find a grand way to celebrate our favorite 11 year old.
Joe embraces life, he loves people and parties and books and the list goes on...
just any old party just wouldn't do.
So, we settled on a month of celebrations for him!
We created a Facebook group for Joe and asked many friends and family
to write Joe a note and mail or give it to him.
It was certainly fitting as the guy who loves life was celebrated all month long!
I made him a special box to store his greetings in, a treasure to keep forever.
Dan and I had a fun time remembering our baby Joe and just how special he is to us.
It's not where we came from, It's where we belong.
He loved running to the mailbox often to see if he had any greetings.
He even provided us roaring laughter one day when he ran smack dab into an
expired possum on one of his trips.
A favorite had candy!

Loving life 10 years later and so very thankful for the gift of adoption in our family.
